percentages.co.uk is operated as a UK-based website. All calculations are performed entirely in your browser. No calculation data is stored or transmitted to any server. If you have questions about this policy, please use our contact page.
2. What data we collect
Calculators, worksheets, practice questions, revision resources and embed pages
No personal data is collected when you use any calculator, view a worksheet or revision resource, work through practice questions, or interact with an embedded calculator. All calculations run in your browser and no input data is sent to our servers.
Email enquiries
If you email us, we will receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this information for the sole purpose of responding to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or use this information for any other purpose.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised usage data including pages visited, time on site, device type and approximate location at country level. No personally identifiable information is collected through GA4. You can opt out via your browser settings or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to monitor search performance. This service does not collect any personal data from users of this site.
Browser localStorage
We use your browser's localStorage to store your dark mode preference and calculator like button state. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. It is not a cookie and is not shared with any third party.

5. Embeddable calculators
The site offers embeddable calculator iframes that third parties may place on their own websites. When a user interacts with an embedded calculator on a third-party site, the same privacy terms apply as using the calculator directly on percentages.co.uk. We do not track which third-party sites embed our calculators.
6. API
The site provides a free read-only calculation API at /api/calculate. No personal data is required or collected to use the API. Usage may be monitored in aggregate for performance purposes only.
7. Third-party links
The site links to external websites including gov.uk, bbc.co.uk/bitesize, ofqual.gov.uk and ons.gov.uk. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites.
